Inter Milan completed the signing of Danish international midfielder Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday. “We can confirm the departure of Christian Eriksen who has today completed a transfer to Inter Milan,” Tottenham said in a statement. “We wish you all the best for the future.”Eriksen made 305 appearances for Spurs after joining from Ajax in 2013, scoring 69 goals. Tottenham also confirmed the permanent signing of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis to replace Eriksen on Tuesday. Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho praised Dane’s professionalism but expressed frustration at the timing of the move after weeks of negotiations between the clubs.
